From Cedar House it's a 10 minute walk into the centre of the beautiful Georgian town of Holt, with fabulous shopping, antique shops, galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Beaches
- Holkham - with a beautiful walk through the pine trees and dunes
- Wells-next-the-Sea, with parking close to the beach, the beach is vast and very picturesque with colourful beach huts and a popular café. If you're lucky you may see seals too!
- Brancaster is another vast sandy beach, where you can also sometimes see seals in the river estuary
- Salthouse is our local beach. You can get a fabulous coffee from Salthouse Stores, visit the the Dun Cow pub and eat fresh crab from Cookie’s crab shop.
- Cromer and West Runton for fossil-hunting and rock pools
